We had our first major snowstorm today. We had just over 8 inches of the fluffy white powder. It snowed from early morning until nearly noon.

The private plow guys are out and about early not much other traffic.

 

 

 

Everything needs to be shoveled out .

 

 

 

 

After my poor sister trundled out to shovel the long driveway and sidewalk on her own, you would have thought she would have been exhausted... but no ..... she came upstairs and bundled up her girls and off they went for their first snow adventure of the season.

 

 

 

As you can see they had a wonderful time. They had a snowball fight and were all ganging up on my sister. They came in beat red and dripping wet from head to toe. The only part they were sad about is the snow wasn't heavy enough to build a snowman. But, they sure managed to make snowballs to throw at their mother.
